What is Outcomes vs outputs?
Outputs are what you did. Outcomes are what changed.
Outputs are countable products of your activities: workshops held, meals served, people trained. Outcomes are the changes those activities produce: skills gained, food insecurity reduced, employment obtained.
Weak proposals promise outputs and call them impact. Strong proposals name a small number of measurable outcomes, state the baseline, and explain how each will be measured.
