A theory of change articulates the causal logic behind a program: the conditions you are addressing, the assumptions you are making, and the sequence of changes you expect.
It is broader than a logic model. Where a logic model maps activities to outcomes, a theory of change explains why that mapping is credible, ideally citing evidence or prior results.
